The Rabbit Hole
A stranger posts it online, almost embarrassed to be asking. You could scroll past. Most people would. But you don't — and that single choice is where the game begins.
What It Is
Have You Lost Your Mind? is a participatory horror story that plays out across a Discord server, a parish's forgotten records, and the quiet spaces in between. There is no download, no controller, no "start game." Once you're inside, nothing will tell you it's fiction — because the story only works if it doesn't.
You'll talk to a woman who can't remember agreeing to marry a man she can't picture. You'll dig through baptism registers, marriage records, and memorial entries that go back further than they should. You'll find the same wedding date, over and over, on the same day the sun stands still. And you'll slowly realise she isn't the first — she's just the first who reached out in time.
"She doesn't need rescue. She needs a witness. That's you."
What Makes It Different
No monster to defeat
You never see him. You never will. This is a game about a woman piecing herself back together — not about killing the thing that took her apart.
Two things overwriting her
The people telling her she's imagining it, and her own mind, quietly filling the gaps with a story she knows isn't true. She has to learn to trust the one instinct both are trying to drown.
Being seen makes it real
Every record you verify, every contradiction you catch, every fragment you help her hold up to the light — it isn't just progress. It's what lets her trust her own mind again.
She chooses. Not you.
It ends the only way it can: not with her saved, but with her choosing — publicly, on her own terms, in her own words.
Mature — 18+
Nothing graphic. Nothing staged for shock. You can stop, completely, at any time — no explanation needed, no questions asked.
If it's too close today, the story will keep.
